By entering the Get Your TV For Free promotion ("Promotion" or “Competition” ), you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions and or any subsequent terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). All entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications relating to the Promotion, including any advertising or promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Promoter: DSG Retail Ireland Ltd., 39/40 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2. Company No. 259460 and its associated agency Brandmovers (“Promoter”).

Eligibility: This Promotion is open to all residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years and over (“Participants”).

Promotional Period: The Promotion is open for qualifying purchases made between 9 May 2018 and midnight 26 June 2018 (“Promotional Period”).

Competition Entry Instructions: Participants must purchase a 55” size TV (or larger) from Currys PC World (i) online at www.curryspcworld.ie, (ii) in any Currys PC World store in Republic of Ireland, or (iii) via call centre. Participants must retain their original transaction receipt as proof of purchase (copies will not be accepted as proof of purchase). Purchases made from Dixons Travel will not be accepted. Following purchase Participants must visit the promotional website (www.curryspcsworldfreetv.ie) between 32-42 days after the date of purchase i.e. between 10 June 2018 and midnight on 7 August 2018 (the “Redemption End Date”), and submit the required information, which shall include (i) your legal name, (ii) home address (iii) email address and (iv) telephone number as well as the (v) branch number, (vi) date of purchase and (vii) receipt number found on your transaction receipt. Participants will be required to answer a tiebreaker question in no more than 20 words to be eligible to enter the Competition. Only one entry per transaction, per residential household, per week will be accepted. Participants may not enter on behalf of any third party. Transaction receipts can only be used once. Entries received after the Redemption End Date will not be accepted by the Promoter.

All participants will be required to upload a scan or picture of their transaction receipt/proof of purchase to verify and claim their prize claim. Claims are not valid in respect of products that are returned and for which the Participant receives a full or partial refund, in which case Promoter will be entitled to disqualify a winner and any prize money issued shall immediately be returned to the Promoter in full. Promoter reserves the right to see your original transaction receipt.

Entries must be received via the www.curryspcsworldfreetv.ie website. Entries made by any other method will not be accepted. Submission of entries without evidence of a valid proof of purchase will be deemed invalid. Incorrect or incomplete submission will be invalid and will not be accepted for entry into the Competition. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged, or undelivered, whether due to technical difficulties affecting electronic communication or otherwise. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit.

For Price Promise customers (for full details relating to Price Promise visit www.curryspcworld.ie) your redemption end date will be extended in accordance with your new receipt.

Prize Fund: The prize awarded to verified winners is a refund of the cost of the 55” (or larger) TV the Participant purchased to a maximum value of €24,999 (“Prize”). Participants who purchased more than one 55” (or larger) TV in a single transaction will be awarded the cost of the lowest priced 55” (or larger) TV on their transaction receipt. The prize will be sent via cheque to the person named at the time of entry to the Competition. Cheques must be banked within 6 months. All prizes will be available to be won during the Promotion, but every prize will only be awarded if the total universe of transactions is entered and therefore if fewer entries are received, all prizes may not be allocated throughout the Promotion.

Prize Winner Selection To be successfully entered into the Competition, Participants must provide all required information, proof of purchase and answer the tiebreaker question in the most apt and original way. The answers to the tiebreaker question will be judged by an independent party who is independent of the Competition’s promoters and intermediaries (“Independent Adjudicator”). Winners will be determined based on merit. One in every 20 entries will be selected by the Independent Adjudicator as the winning answer and shall win the Prize. The best answer in every 20 entries will win their cash back (to a maximum value of €24,999).

Winner Notification: All participants will be notified by email using the email they provided at the time of entry to the Competition within 5 working days of the Promoter receiving every 20th valid entry to the Competition. All entries will be verified by an independently audited and verified process.

Delivery of Prize: Delivery of all Prizes will be by signed for delivery to the winner’s postal address provided when entering the Promotion, within 28 days of receipt of winner’s receiving a confirmation email from the Promoter.

All prize winners’ details will be passed onto a third party for purposes relating to the administration and delivery of prizes, and you consent to the passing of your personal details for this purpose.

General: The Promoter reserves the right to request and be provided with such information as it considers reasonably necessary or desirable for the purpose of verifying the eligibility or validity of any entry and any prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

The Promoter may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to Participants by posting revised terms and conditions on the Promoter’s website. Any such changes or modifications shall become effective immediately upon posting. It is the Participants’ responsibility to periodically check for any modifications to these Terms and Conditions.

Promoter reserves the right to vary, cancel, postpone or modify the Get Your TV for Free Promotion at any time and for whatever reason and/or amend or withdraw this Promotion in whole or in part at any time.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw any prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and to disqualify any Participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where Participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or entered or won using fraudulent means.

The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the Participant concerned or anyone authorised by the Participant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If any winning entry is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another Participant.

The Promoter may restrict, suspend or terminate any Participant or user of the Promoter’s website from accessing the Promoter’s website if the Promoter believes that such individual has breached these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such restriction, suspension or termination will be without prejudice to any rights, which the Promoter may have against the individual in respect of the individual’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.

The information and materials contained on the Promoter’s website is based upon up-to-date information, and while the Promoter makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that all material on the Promoter’s website is correct, accuracy cannot be guaranteed and Promoter’s makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. The Promoter reserves the right to immediately disqualify anyone tampering with the operation of the website, for example entering without a correct and valid transaction receipt or person who is entering with false identity.

The Promoter’s website shall be used for lawful purposes only. Users of the Promoter’s website shall not post any material and/or statement on the Promoter’s website which violates or infringes in any way the rights (including the intellectual property rights) of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, sexist, racist, indecent or otherwise objectionable or, which encourages conduct or is conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any applicable law. The Promoter reserves the right to remove any offensive language submitted on the Promoter’s website at any time and to prohibit or restrict access to the Promoter’s website as it sees fit.

Except where prohibited by law, in no event is the Promoter or any third party supplier of the Promoter responsible for any direct, incidental, special, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages of any character, or any other losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including legal fees, expert fees, or other disbursements) arising from the Participant’s use of Promoter’s website or the Participant’s entering into the Competition including without limitation damages for loss of goodwill, computer failure or malfunction and all other commercial damages or losses. The Promoter will under no circumstance whatsoever irrespective of the cause therefore, be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury to any individual, or to their property or otherwise caused or suffered in connection with this Promotion.

The Promoter does not warrant that any use of or access to the Promoter’s website will be uninterrupted by error or virus free, nor shall it have any liability for damage caused by hostile software which may infect an individual’s equipment or property as a result of that participant using or browsing the Promoter’s website.

Any logos used on the Promoter’s website or in the Get Your TV for Free Promotion (the “Trade Marks”) are the trademark or registered trademark of the Promoter. Participant’s may not use or reproduce the Trade Marks, or any variations thereof, without the prior written consent of the owners of those Trade Marks. Participants may not use the Trade Marks in any way that deliberately or inadvertently suggests the appearance or impression of a relationship with or endorsement by the owners of the Trade Marks.

The individual acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter has no responsibility for the information provided by websites which may link from the Promoter’s website ("Linked Sites"). Links to Linked Sites do not constitute an endorsement by or association with the Promoter of such Linked Sites or the content, products, advertising or other materials presented on such Linked Sites. The individual acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, loss or cost caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on such Linked Sites.

The Promoter may at its sole discretion and at any time do any of the following, without notice and without any liability whatsoever: (i) to modify or change the Promoter’s website, and any applicable policies or terms; and (ii) to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, Promotion with or without prior notice to Participants.

By entering the Competition and registering Particpant’s name, email address and any other personal information, each Participant expressly consents to the processing of his or her personal information by the Promoter and its agents for the purposes of the Promotion and the Competition.

The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of this Promotion.

Each winner agrees to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the Promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each winner’s name, likeness, image, tiebreaker answer, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the Promotion in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to such a winner.

The full name and county of the prize winners will be available upon written request to the Currys PC World, Get Your TV For Free Promotion, c/o TBK Agency, 1 Carter’s Row, Hatfield Park, Hatfield, AL9 5NB within 3 months of the closing date enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.

30. The Promoter will at all times comply with data protection legislation when collecting and processing data. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion, which may include emails to remind you about registration dates, Participant’s personal details will not be used for any other purpose whatsoever, unless Promoter has your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential. Please see the Promoter’s privacy statement here for further information relating to the collection, use and disclosure of such data.

Participants who enter the Competition are agreeing to receive communications from the Promoter in connection with the Competition via mail, email and/or telephone from time to time. Should the Promoter need to contact you for any reason in connection with your entry into this Competition Promoter may contact you via email or telephone, using the details provided at the time of entry.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

This Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and all disputes that cannot be amicably settled shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ireland. Your statutory rights are not affected.
